OUR MISSION
Reaching Back Together (RBT), is a nonprofit organization seeking to mentor and guide the youth by providing counseling/mentoring, coaching, vocational skills and entrepreneurship training. RBT serves as a pathway to the youth that will lead to successful leaders of tomorrow.

Tyree Newton
CEO
Hello! I am Tyree Newton from Atlanta, Georgia and I am 29 years old. I graduated from Alabama State University with a Bachelors in Social Work and a Masters in School Counseling from Clark Atlanta University. I am also a former cross country and track & field athlete, and a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. I have been a school counselor for 3 years, and a cross country and track coach for 4 years. I have had a plethora of experiences mentoring children and young adults throughout my career.
I chose counseling and coaching because I wanted to empower kids that were like me growing up. At a young age, I lost a few family members that were close to me and did not know how to deal with it. This caused me to act out in school and isolate myself. I learned how to cope by participating in sports. Sports helped me grow as a person and be supportive of others with similar backgrounds. Now it is time for me to continue that journey and make a positive impact on our society.

Being part of Atlanta's film industry, has provided me an opportunity to meet professionals in a lot of different occupations. RBT will give our younger generation the opportunity to develop skills that they can use to become entrepreneurs or skilled professionals.
Mr. Newton has over 25 years of experience in transportation industry and the mechanical field. Mr. Newton has over 15 years in credit counseling, which our community has been left out when it comes to having knowledge on our credit worthiness.
God has put in his heart to reach back and share knowledge, wisdom, and guidance to the next generation that will become our future leaders. RBT’s mission is to bring vocational skills back to our community, so kids grow up having more career opportunities. I look forward to teaching others about credit worthiness as part of RBT credit counseling program.
